I grew up in a three hundred year old house outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Model making, lots of time in the woods, swimming and anything that had wheels were my major investments in time as a child.
Born July 26,1950 in Chester, Pennsylvania;I graduated from college in 1973 with a business and an art degree. One week after graduation I participated in my first art show. At this show I was asked by my first client as she was filling in her check to me,"is that $300. or $3000.?" It was $300. but it clearly demonstrated the potential, I was hooked.
The shows provided me with income but just as important they gave me a place to experiment with images and techniques and get an immediate response from the public. That same public taught me what the other artists did not. It was a rich lesson. This led to focused development of motifs, content and technical advancement that I share with you today.
